 The Havelock Mussel Festival 2011

Saturday 19th March

Keep an eye out for updates!

What happened in 2010.............?

Once again the 2010 Havelock Mussel Festival proved to be a great success with over 5000 attending the event! On behalf of the Havelock Mussel Festival Committee we would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks for the wonderful support shown by our Sponsors who make this event possible and to all the volunteers who assist with many aspects of making this event the success it is.

frankie.jpgIconic New Zealand entertainer Frankie Stevens led this year’s entertainment on the main stage, along with The Lady Killers, Aaron Gilmore of ‘Dancing with the Stars' fame and local acts including - Queen Charlotte Kapa Huka, Marlborough Boys College Jazz Band, Recommended by Your Mom (Havelock) and Something Else (Nelson).

Over 70 stalls offered lots of food, wine and beer as well as jewellery, craft and industry stall displays.

The HMF Cooking demos once again prove a popular attraction with celebrity chefs like Richard Till and Chris Fortune cooking up a storm along with local chef Rebecca Hill from Blenheim Café Figaro’s and wine tasting from Yealands.
